Closed, converted to a private house. Looking a perfectly lovely typical Essex church, and it must be very pleasant to live in, surrounded by flowerbeds. A public footpath still runs through the former churchyard, now the garden. But, of course, the church is lost to us forever. Hopefully it serves as a warning to any parish who might decide that declaring their church redundant to save running costs is a good idea.Simon Knott, April 2014
