This neat little Catholic church at the north end of the high street was the work of William Hayne, the Frinton town architect. However, he didn't design it as a Catholic church, which would have been somewhat against his non-conformist sympathies. Rather, it was a public hall, later used as the local cinema before being converted into a Catholic church. It appears to be open every day.
