A sweet little Norman church, open every day, to which a rather grand apse was added in the 19th Century. Inside, this apse is a spectacular confection of lancets and arcading, somewhat out of keeping with the rustic character of the rest of the building, but interesting nonetheless.

And on through the narrow lanes. Very horsey country, I was wary on blind turns in case I shot round the corner and found my front wheel impaled in a horse's backside. From here it would be a necessarily convoluted route involving the use of another bridle way and farm track to easily reach Beauchamp Roding church.
