The church seems to have fallen on hard times even before
the Great Fire, and it was not rebuilt. But the burial
ground continued in use into the 1850s and survives today
as a small paved garden among the offices. It has been
laid with benches in the style of medieval furnishings
for the lunchtime sandwich eaters, which is rather
pleasing.
